Every December, the St Francis coastline comes alive with the sound of engines, laughter, and ocean spray as jet ski enthusiasts gather for one of the most anticipated events of the summer — The Bayview Boating Jetski Run.
Now in its 20th year, this iconic event has become a highlight on the local calendar, bringing together water lovers, thrill seekers, and families for a day of fun, community, and adventure — all in support of a great cause.
The run kicks off at the Kromme River mouth, with riders setting off on a scenic and exhilarating route to Jeffreys Bay main beach and back. It’s the perfect mix of ocean excitement, camaraderie, and coastal beauty — whether you’re riding or cheering from the shore.
This year, the Bayview Boating Jetski Run will once again be held in aid of the St Francis NSRI, supporting the incredible volunteers who keep our waters safe.
A donation of R200.00 per rider is recommended and will be donated directly to the NSRI.
Dates: 14th & 21st December
Meet: 7:30 AM | Departure: 8:00 AM
After the ride: Boerie rolls, drinks & a relaxed braai for all participants and supporters
The event is weather permitting — final confirmation will be shared closer to the dates.
For two decades, the Bayview Boating Jetski Run has brought people together — year after year, without fail — to celebrate the sea, the community, and the shared thrill of the ride.
So grab your jet ski, your sunscreen, and your sense of adventure. Let’s make this year’s run another one to remember!
