At Bayview Boating, we offer shipping and delivery solutions tailored to the size, value, and handling requirements of each product. Due to the nature of our inventory, shipping methods differ between large recreational items and smaller retail products.


1. Large Items – Boats, Jet Skis & Bikes

Large, high-value items including but not limited to:

  • Boats (new and pre-owned)

  • Jet skis / personal watercraft

  • Motorcycles / bikes

  • Trailers

are not shipped via standard courier services.

Delivery for Large Items

  • Delivery is handled on an individual basis and arranged directly with the customer.

  • Delivery options may include:

    • Customer collection from our premises

    • Dealer-assisted delivery

    • Third-party transport arranged at the customer’s cost

  • Delivery costs, timelines, and logistics will be confirmed before finalising the sale.

Bayview Boating accepts no responsibility for delays caused by third-party transport providers.


2. Small Items – Fishing Gear & Accessories

Smaller items such as:

  • Fishing tackle

  • Boating accessories

  • Apparel

  • Non-installed marine equipment

will, where possible, be shipped via reputable courier services.

Courier Shipping

  • Shipping fees are calculated at checkout or quoted separately if required.

  • Delivery times vary depending on location and courier service.

  • Tracking details will be provided once the order has been dispatched.


3. Shipping Areas

  • Courier shipping is available within South Africa.

  • Delivery of large items may be available nationwide, subject to logistics and transport availability.


4. Order Processing

  • Orders are processed during normal business hours, excluding weekends and public holidays.

  • Dispatch times may vary depending on stock availability and order volume.

  • Bayview Boating reserves the right to delay dispatch if additional verification or communication is required.


5. Collection Option

Customers may choose to collect items directly from Bayview Boating by prior arrangement. Proof of purchase and valid identification will be required upon collection.


6. Risk & Responsibility

  • Risk passes to the customer once the item has been collected or handed over to a third-party courier or transporter.

  • Customers are responsible for inspecting all items upon receipt and reporting any issues immediately.


7. Shipping Restrictions

Bayview Boating reserves the right to refuse shipping if:

  • The delivery address is inaccessible

  • The item requires specialised handling not available at the time

  • Payment has not been fully cleared
