Bayview Boating specialises in the sale of:

  • Jet skis / personal watercraft

  • Motorcycles / bikes

  • Trailers

  • Outboard motors

  • Marine accessories and related products

All product descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing are provided to the best of our knowledge but are not guaranteed to be error-free. Availability is subject to change without notice.

3. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice.

  • Full payment or an agreed deposit is required to secure any high-value item.

  • Bayview Boating reserves the right to cancel any order due to pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraudulent activity.

4. Deposits

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

  • Deposits secure the item and remove it from sale.

  • Failure to complete payment within the agreed timeframe may result in forfeiture of the deposit and cancellation of the sale.

5. Inspections, Sea Trials & Acceptance

  • Customers are encouraged to inspect vessels, jet skis, and bikes thoroughly prior to purchase.

  • Sea trials and inspections must be arranged before finalising the sale.

  • By completing a purchase, the customer confirms acceptance of the item’s condition, specifications, and suitability.

6. No Returns or Refunds

All sales of high-value items are final.
No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be permitted once payment has been made and/or the item has been collected, delivered, registered, or launched.

7. Voetstoots Sales

Unless otherwise stated in writing, all pre-owned vessels, jet skis, bikes, and equipment are sold voetstoots (as is). Bayview Boating makes no guarantees beyond what is explicitly disclosed.

8. Warranties

  • Manufacturer warranties on new products are handled directly with the manufacturer or authorised service agents.

  • Bayview Boating provides no additional warranties unless clearly stated in writing.

  • Pre-owned items may not carry any warranty unless explicitly specified.

9. Limitation of Liability

Bayview Boating shall not be held liable for:

  • Loss, damage, or injury arising from the use or misuse of any product

  • Mechanical failure after delivery or collection

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

All boating, jet skiing, and riding activities carry inherent risks, which are accepted by the customer upon purchase.

10. Website Use & Intellectual Property

All website content, including images, logos, text, videos, and branding, is the property of Bayview Boating and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

11. Consumer Protection Act (CPA)

Bayview Boating complies with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) where applicable. However, CPA protections do not apply to:

  • Voetstoots sales where disclosed

  • Change-of-mind purchases for high-value recreational vehicles

  • Custom or special-order items

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
